Related Websites and Organizations The Ojai Foundation, CIS’s parent organization, offers retreats and rite-of-passage experiences for youth and adults, as well as council training workshops, and many other events and programs. The Community Conferencing Center, in Baltimore, Maryland, facilitates restorative conferences and provides restorative practices training. The School of Lost Borders offers vision fasts and rites of passage training to youth and adults. Its programs provide guided opportunities, perspectives, teachings, and much needed self-reflection in a non-judgmental yet challenging environment.
